Al Salam Alaikum wa Rahmat Allah wa Barakatoh
What is the scale of preference among all of us?! Is it the wealth? Is it the beauty? Is it our race? Is it our color?
As we are taught in Islam...It's none of these things...So, what is it really?
Allah does not judge, or weigh or consider us according to these worldly, earthly things but according to our hearts and deeds....These two critical things are the ones mainly observed and monitored...our intention when we do anything, is it for the sake of Allah, then for our benefit in this life and in the Hereafter? Our other deeds rather than the heart's ones...our everyday acts, work, movements, any kind of deeds...is it all beneficial? Is it worthwhile? Is it of value for us as well as others around the universe?
Allah will scale our deeds, thus, we should do our best to have as much good deeds as we can when we are still alive....Do you know when will you die?!.....I don't know either.....knowing this fact....why don't all of us help each other to save ourselves when we are able to do so?
For how long I will live? 40 years...50 years....say 100 years...THEN WHAT?! Isn't it death?! THEN WHAT?! Isn't it an everlasting life in "Paradise", may Allah make it our last home, or, an everlasting life in "Hell", may Allah save us all,?! This is the very true fact that no reasonable, mindful, thoughtful, rational person can deny.
Hence...whoever will make use of his/her seconds...minutes...hours...which are in sum our life indeed....whoever will do that, will be the real winner....and whoever will just forget about all of that...then, no one to be blamed except him/herself....So, try your best to be from the first troop....and not from the other....
