Al Salam Alaikum wa Rahmat Allah wa Barakatoh
Today I want to talk about patience and that it is of four levels, I mean when anyone of us faces a problem in this life and this problem is of course an exam from Allah to this person, what shall he/she do?
Prophet Mohammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said that if Allah the Great loved someone of his slaves, he will examine him/her by dilemmas, then whoever will accept, Allah will accept him/her or will accept their did. And whoever will reject Allah's exam, he/she will be rejected.
What are the levels of patience?!
- The first level is to be patient, even if you hate what happened to you, but at the same time you are patient, and you don't say anything but whatever is acceptable by Allah.
- The second level is to accept what happened, and don't hate it since it's from Allah.
- The third level is to say: Alhamdulellah, meaning: you thank Allah because He gave you such an exam for your benefit. And this level is called: "Al'Shokr".
- The last level is to be happy with it and never hope that it didn't happen since you are sure that it is either an exam from Allah to clean you from your sins, or it will raise you to a level in paradise that you can't reach by your humble worshiping or good did.
