Really?!!! More Secrets of Happiness

Al Salam Alaikum wa Rahmat Allah wa Barakatoh

There is a saying of Prophet Mohammad -peace and blessings of Allah be upon him- :

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : " إذا نظر أحدكم إلى من فضل عليه في المال والخلق فلينظر إلى من هو أسفل منه " متفق عليه .

وفي رواية لمسلم قال : " انظروا إلى من هو أسفل منكم ولا تنظروا إلى من هو فوقكم فهو أجدر أن لا تزدروا نعمة الله عليكم "

وقد وقع في نسخة عمرو بن شعيب عن أبيه عن جده رفعه قال : " خصلتان من كانتا فيه كتبه الله شاكرا صابرا : من نظر في دنياه إلى من هو دونه فحمد الله على ما فضله به عليه ، ومن نظر في دينه إلى من هو فوقه فاقتدى به " .

Meaning:

Our Prophet, the Prophet of all mankind, is telling us that:  With regard to all worldly things, e.g:  Money, Beauty, wealth, or any kind of life blessings....What shall we do?!  We should always see who is in a lower social class, who is poorer than us….In general, who is experiencing less life blessings than we do…And why is that?!  So that we don't despise, misprize or even ignore our Great Lord blessings.  Because if we will compare ourselves with the ones who are wealthier or above us in social class that might cause us so many inner conflicts:  Someone might feel that he/she is really poor, or doesn't have anything, or just nothing compared to others, which might also lead to the feeling of depression and unhappiness. 

Thus, the secret word here is SATISFACTION....Just be satisfied with the things Allah granted you in this life and you'll be the happiest person, I promise you.  But of course that doesn't mean to be lazy or not to look forward to a better job, or a better house, or whatever, it doesn't mean not to be a hard worker.  Of course, all of us have to work hard and always look for a better life.....What is meant here is wherever and whatever social, or economical level you reach, then, and at that time, see who are at a lower position than you do.

On the other hand, and with regard to our religion, and our spiritual things, like our faith level, what shall we do?!  We have to compare ourselves with those who are better than us, who have stronger faith than we do, who worship in the proper way, and work for their religion up to their optimal capacity, etc....Why is that?!  It is to reinforce ourselves to be better in terms of faith, and to be encouraged to reach a  higher spiritual level, which will lead us to live such a happy, full of joy, and just unbelievable sort of life.
