Mama...(2)

Al Salam Alaikum wa Rahmat Allah wa Barakatoh

In Islam, the last religion to all mankind, do you know what is the right say toward celebrating every year on the twenty first of March and considering this day as "a Mother Day!!!"?  I think most of you know, or at least have heard a word regarding this issue.

I'm not a scholar, or someone to give "Fatwa", on the other hand, this matter should be known to all Muslims since it's such a serious matter.  All the trustful scholars said that it is not allowed, for Muslims, to celebrate any occasions out of these three ones, "Eid Al Fitr", "Eid Al Adha", and the weekly Eid of Muslims, "Friday".  Why is that?

It is because lives of Muslims are organized so neatly and precisely by the orders of Allah and Prophet Mohammad -peace and blessings of Allah be upon him-, our lives are not set haphazardly.  Allah said that in the Noble Qur'an:

(أفحسبتم أنما خلقناكم عبثًا وأنكم إلينا لا ترجعون. فتعالى الله الملك الحق لا إله إلا هو رب العرش الكريم)
سورة المؤمنون:  115-116

Meaning:

"Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?"

So Exalted is Allah, the True King:  La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! *

Both parents have great rights to be granted by their children, and these rights are stressed many places in the Noble Qur'an, but that doesn't mean we do something which Allah Hates, just to follow others, or to do what ourselves tell us without listening to Allah's orders.

Thus, if we are really the followers of our Prophet, then, we should do what he was doing. And I'm willing to challenge anyone who claims that Prophet Mohammad –peace and blessings of Allah be upon him- has celebrated any other occasions rather than the three Eids mentioned earlier.  And the same is true with his followers and their followers.
