Al Salam Alikum wa Rahmat Allah wa Barakatoh

There are terms and conditions for the "Hijab","الحجاب" so, we should consider these conditions when wearing anything in front of strangers - rather than the husband and all the "Mahrams", "المحارم" -who are these Eleven Categories: 

•  Fathers
•  Fathers of Fathers
•  Fathers of Husbands
•  Children of Husbands
•  Her own Children.
•  Brothers
•  Sons of Brothers
•  Sons of Sisters
•  Brothers of Fathers
•  Brothers of Mothers
•  Maharem for the woman because of Breastfeeding. 

Back to the Terms & Conditions of Right "Hijab":

1. To be covering the whole "Awrah" "العورة" all the parts that should be covered in front of strangers rather than her husband, and all her Mahrams.
2. Not to be "adornment" by its own since Allah Said:  (ولا يبدين زينتهن إلا ما ظهر منها) Meaning:  Tell believing women not to show off their adornment except that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, headcover, apron)
3. To be "Thick", and not "transparent" doesn't show what is there under it.  So that to be really covering and hiding the body of the woman, or what's the use of it?!!!
4. To be "Wide" and not tight, because the real aim is to cover and not to cause "Fintnah", which might be caused by any illegal sexual acts.
5. Not to be "Perfumed" when going out or in front of strangers as we stressed before.
6. Not to be "Like What Men" wear, or any of Men's wear.
7. Not to be "Like What non-believers Wear".
8. Not to be a "Glory Wear" itself.
